Jenny S Rooftop Restaurant

An unforgettable dining experience! I recently visited Jenny’s Rooftop Restaurant in Athens, right next to the International Airport, and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome — professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the menu and wine pairings. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a cocktail, and soak in the beauty of Athens from above. The food was phenomenal — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the quality of ingredients really stood out. What impressed me most was the consistency of service. Everyone on the team was friendly, well-trained, and eager to ensure guests had an amazing experience. Without a doubt, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Greece. Whether you’re flying in or out of Athens or just looking for a memorable night out, Jenny’s Rooftop is a must-visit!

During my stay in the Sofitel, I chose to have dinner in Jenny's Rooftop Restaurant Bar. As a starter, I ordered the Mini Octopus Skewers and as a main course the Grouper Fillet. I really liked the presentation of the Octopus and it tasted great. While I was still enjoying the starter, the waiter already showed up with the main course. I know that in Greece it is not unusual that the main course arrives while you have your starters, but in Greek tavernas and restaurants you have several starters. If you have one starter and one main course, my expectation is to get them one by one. I asked the waiter to return my main course back to the kitchen and prepare it again, when I finished my starter, which he politely did. Nevertheless, that situation made me feel a bit uncomfortable because that might look snobbish. But if I pay a certain amount, I expect a certain service. The Grouper itself tasted excellent. At the end of the dinner, the restaurant manager showed up to offer me something on the house as compensation. A move that I really liked. But regardless of that, my expectation would have been having dinner without any issues. Usually, this would be a 5 star review. But the circumstances mentioned above made it “only” a 4 star review. During my next stay, I will for sure give it another try.

This is a stunning restaurant! We stopped by for our anniversary dinner here and enjoyed everything we ordered. We dined outside at the rooftop and saw the sunset. For a restaurant next to an airport we are surprised. Our server Vlasis, he is very friendly and attentive. We started our dinner with grilled octopus, tartare, and leek potato soup all excellent! For our mains we had the sirloin and chicken. Again, amazing! We look forward to coming back here.

I went only for coffee and soft drinks... Me and my daughter enjoyed full experiences. The decor is fantastic... We had our drinks looking for aeroplanes. Day was very windy so we remained inside. It is pricey but I would expect it as its Sofitel... If we in Athens we will be back. Thank you

We had an amazing dinner at Jenny’s! The food and service were both 5-star! Thank you @Akis and @George. You both (and the chef) made our night! The beef filet and the lamb shank were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The the mini octopus skewers were amazing! We would come back and do the same menu, and ask for Akis and George!

Staying at the hotel for the night, the reception recommended the rooftop restaurant that made my final night truly special. The food was outstanding, and as a long-time fan of Sofitel, I had high expectations, which were more than met. The service caught my attention as it was different and it stood out for its genuine, straightforward build up of rapport; the waitstaff created a welcoming atmosphere that was consistent with everyone and throughout the evening. The energy was uplifting, I do appreciate who ever did the customer relations training with these guys. The rooftop ambiance was delightful, providing a perfect setting for guests to unwind with drinks. It seemed like the ideal spot for travelers winding down before their flights the next day. I started with the soup of the day, a hearty and well-seasoned tomato soup. The beef tartare was incredible—perfectly balanced in flavor. The lobster pasta was also exceptionally cooked and flavorful. Overall, my experience at this restaurant exceeded my expectations, making it a memorable part of my trip to Athens. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting.

Jenny’s has an upscale atmosphere with nice outdoor seating. The prices are fairly high but you might expect that with a rooftop overlooking the airport arrivals. The highlights of our meal were the attentive service, Greek salad, and the risotto dishes. Our group tried the Chicken and Steak mains, along with the seafood and vegetable Risottos. The seasoning and cook on the Risotto was perfect. The Greek salad presentation and seasoning were also impeccable. The steak and potatoes were excellent. I’d certainly recommend Jenny’s if you’d like an upscale experience near the airport. The decor calls back to the more gilded age of aviation but borders on “too much” for my taste.
